Between the inland and the coasts, the choice is overwhelming! From North to South and from East to West, the best itinerary is the one you least expect because Sardinia is like that—it surprises you at every turn...
Whether you're touring Sardinia on a classic motorcycle or an enduro bike for 7 days, 10 days, or two weeks, you will return enriched by breathtaking landscapes that steal your soul.
From coast to coast to enduro routes and circuits, Sardinia has so much to offer. Let's see the recommended itineraries.
Why go on motorcycle excursions in Sardinia? The island is one of the most sought-after destinations by enthusiasts who flock here every year to explore over 12,000 kilometers of roads that guarantee unique emotions.
Most motorcyclists who enjoy touring Sardinia do so extensively, counting on the abundance of curves, ascents, and descents that characterize many of the island's roads.
Venturing along diverse routes, enjoying the frequent breezes or the strong Mistral wind that characterizes much of the island, is one of the greatest joys cherished by the many motorcyclists who have made Sardinia one of the most coveted destinations for motorcycle tourism throughout the year.
Motorcycle routes abound in every area of Sardinia, both along the coasts and inland. In a single day, you can go from the whitest beaches along the coast to towering cliffs, all the way to the massive mountains of Gennargentu or Limbara.
For example, the northern coast of the island is famous for the scenic road that runs along the Costa Smeralda, from where you can descend towards the eastern coast, riding the famous SS 125, which winds its way through granite formations and cork forests.
Further south, you can ride your motorcycle to the most famous beaches in Sardinia: Cala Luna, Cala Goloritzè, Cala Mariolu, and Pedra Longa are still considered among the most beautiful beaches in the entire Mediterranean and can provide dreamlike excursions.
Finally, along the southeastern coast, you can admire the splendid Costa Verde on your motorcycle (enduro championships are also organized here) and reach the fabulous beach of Piscinas and its sand dunes, which have become one of the wildest film locations in Italian cinema and beyond.
