La Maddalena
A stone's throw from the sea in the north of Sardinia, lies the village of Posada, one of those places that one wonders why they are not more popular given their history and beauty.
For this reason, it has been included in the list of borghi più belli d’Italia (the most beautiful villages in Italy). Its beaches have been awarded the 5 vele (5 sails), the Oscar for the most beautiful and cleanest coastline, for eight years. Its offer ranges from sporting activities, such as kayaking or cycling with a nice bike-sharing service, to places of art.
These include the Castello della Fava, which has protected the town from incursions from the sea since 1200. Climbing up to the stronghold, one passes through narrow alleys between stone walls that hide the charm of the mediaeval town. Â
