Near the village of Laconi in the green heart of Sardinia, the Baron Ignazio Aymerich created a park around the ruins of a mediaeval castle.
He designed a visual tale of various tree species brought back from his many travels. Immerse yourself in it and you will find a majestic cedar from Lebanon or one from the Himalayas.
The paths in the park will bewitch you with an incredible variety of plants, such as the Collectia Cruciata, whose leaves look like a bird in flight. Or the orchids, which thrive thanks to the temperate and very humid climate provided by the numerous streams. One of these forms the spectacular Cascata Maggiore, about which you will find a dedicated file.
